ROCKY PATH

For this material I decided to try a slightly different workflow, and combine some ZBrush sculpting with material generation in Substance Designer. I sculpted out the base rock pattern for height and normals, and imported those maps into Substance, where I created a lot of the surface detail, augmenting the normal and height maps, and generating the base colour, roughness, metallic and ambient occlusion maps.
